The SOCAscore - Terms and Conditions of Business

  1. SOCAscore - Terms of Access
    Use of this website and the rights to the design, pictures, logos and content of this website are the exclusive property of SOCA Management Consultants Limited. All of SOCA Management Consultants Limited's intellectual property rights are protected. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, display, post or transmit any part of this site without the express written permission of SOCA Management Consultants Limited.

  2. SOCAscore - Prices
    All of our prices are quoted in UK Sterling and are inclusive of 17.5% Value Added Tax.

  3. SOCAscore - Conditions of Sale and Delivery
    Individual candidates or organisations acting on behalf of candidates are required to purchase the SOCAscore test prior to completing the questions. This may be done by either entering valid credit or debit card details at the time of taking the test or alternatively by pre-paying for a block of tests.

    All questions must be answered by the candidate in order to ensure the validity of the test. In the event that a candidate does not complete one or more questions, no test report will be issued and no refund made. Candidates have the ability to reconnect to a test that is partially completed and continue with the testing process, in the event of disconnection during the test. Reconnection to a partially completed test may only be done within 48 hours of starting the test.

    Once the candidate has indicated that the test is complete, no further access will be provided to the questions or any of the responses that the candidate provided. SOCA Management Consultants Limited staff and its associates will not discuss any test questions, responses or comment on the data output from the test.

    Upon successful completion of the test, an output report indicating suggested skill levels of the candidate will be provided to the person whose email address has been entered in the "Email of Report Recipient" field, prior to starting the test. No additional copies of a specific candidate's test data will be provided nor may be purchased.

    In the event that an individual or an organisation paying for the test, requests further analysis of the test output report, a further purchase must be made from SOCA Management Consultants Limited via the SOCAscore.com website.

    SOCA Management Consultants Limited reserves the right to use individual test data for trend analysis as well as further research and development work carried out on the SOCAscore.

    Client support and service including any complaints will only be dealt with by e-mails sent to support@SOCA.co.uk. A response to each e-mail will normally be provided within 2 working days.

  4. SOCAscore - Disclaimer
    SOCA Management Consultants Limited does not give any warranty or other assurance as to the operation, quality or functionality of the SOCAscore.

    SOCA Management Consultants Limited does not give any warranty or other assurance as to the content of any information available through SOCAscore, its accuracy, completeness, timelessness or fitness for any particular purpose.

    To the full extent permissible by law, SOCA Management Consultants Limited disclaims all responsibility for any damages or losses (including, without limitation, financial loss, damages for loss in business projects, loss of profits or other consequential losses) arising in contract, tort or otherwise from the use of SOCAscore or any material referred to in the SOCAscore process, or from any action or decision taken as a result of using SOCAscore.

    All of our consultants' comments, whether written or verbal, are also covered by this disclaimer.

  5. SOCAscore - Refunds
    SOCA Management Consultants Limited is unable to make refunds once an on-line order has been completed, except in the exceptional circumstances detailed within these terms and conditions.

  6. SOCAscore - Receipts, billing and settlement
    Our only receipt is the one provided on-line at the time of ordering therefore it is important that clients print and/or save these receipts. Any errors should be raised with us by e-mail within 48 hours of receiving the on-line receipt. SOCA will endeavour to rectify any such mistakes within 48 hours of receiving an appropriate request from a client.

  7. SOCAscore - Legal and Arbitration
    Our Terms and Conditions do not affect our clients' statutory rights under the following English Consumer Law:
    the Sale of Goods Act 1979;
    the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982;
    the Consumer Credit Act 1974;
    the Trade Descriptions Act 1968;
    the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the 1994 Regulations;
    the Consumer Protection Act 1987,
    and we operate under the Laws of England and Wales.

    The validity, construction and performance of this contract shall be governed by the Law of England and any dispute that may arise out of or in connection with this contract including its validity, construction and performance shall be determined by arbitration under the Rules of the London Court of Arbitration at the date hereof, which Rules with respect to matters not regulated by them incorporate the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. The parties agree that service of any notices in reference to such arbitration at the addresses as given in the contract shall be valid and sufficient.

  8. SOCAscore - Data Protection and Privacy Policy
    SOCA Management Consultants Limited adheres strictly to all current Data Protection legislation, including the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not pass client names, addresses or other details to any other organisations for marketing or other purposes. We do not make individual SOCAscore test data available to any third party organisations.

  9. SOCAscore - Company Information
    The SOCAscore.com, scorascore.co.uk, SOCAscore.net and SOCA.co.uk are websites and domain names owned by SOCA Management Consultants Limited, a limited company registered in England on 4th September 1998, registration number 3626908. Registered Offices: 66 Wigmore Street, London W1U 2HQ, England. A 24-hour answer phone service is available on +44 (0) 1923 842200.
