Introduction
The SOCAscore provides an objective measure of sales ability. It is simple to take, normally conducted in less than 30 minutes and produces immediate results that comprehensively profile candidate strengths and development needs. The SOCAscore is designed to specifically assist business managers and recruitment consultants to accurately assess candidate suitability whether in pre-hire, promotion or training evaluation situations. It is also a useful personal development aid that helps individuals to better understand their own sales skill levels.
The SOCAscore is a unique measure of 35 key skills that are universally used by people who succeed in sales roles. The SOCAscore is inexpensive yet provides a wide-ranging analysis of sales skills. Our consultants are able to provide further analysis of an assessment, if required.
The SOCAscore takes into account sales experience and can be repeated as a career develops to assess readiness for promotion. The SOCAscore differentiates candidates and can act as a guide for candidate suitability to Internal Sales, Field Sales or Sales Management roles.
The SOCAscore report shows an assessment of each of the 35 key skills. We also provide an overall assessment of Technical and Managerial skills coupled with Behavioural and Personality traits. All of these are shown as percentages. The SOCAscore itself is also a percentage aggregating the 35 key sales skills. The SOCAscore is then used to suggest typical sales jobs for which candidates possess adequate skills. These are not designed to be exclusive but act as a meaningful guideline for employers assessing candidate suitability to either current or prospective roles.
